Very cool. I love escape room games. But not actual escape rooms. lol
Took me a while to figure out you interact with "e" but once that was done I enjoyed it. With a joy stick I think I would of gotten a better score but with a keyboard and mouse I got 28 seconds left on the clock. Not bad. And like 13 deaths. lol
I buy games like these off the steam store for my steam oled all the time. They aren't that advanced but they are cheap and fun. That's all these kinds of game need to be. Just fun to platform around in. Which I think this is a good start to. So I hope you create a full fledge game. Good job.
Hey! Glad you like it. You will be happy to hear that I will most likely polish this thing a bit further after the Jam. Adding UI - like "press E to interract" - that was missing for sure :D , Sound, Background music, Main menu. And I will make new areas with more mechanics. For example the lava zone the cages were supposed to move up and down and the solo chain was supposed to swing from side to side but sadly I ran out of time (this was a project for GMTK game jam).
O I comment on both the jam and game page. A short something on the jam page as a highlight for other people so they will click on the game too. And a longer critique on the game page for the creator.
I don't know if the jam page stays up after the jam but the game page will be up as long as the creator wants it to be so I figured its beneficial to comment on both.
